hooray i turned 18 on june 29th. and i got a macbook pro for a b-day present/grad present! it's my new love. i'll probably be using it a lot more whenever i go to SCAD (hopefully within the next 2 years). i want to major in graphic design.
anywho... this summer i went on a free trip to Washington DC because i won this Congressional District Art Competition for my district in Texas. it was wonderful. i got to meet loads of other talented and amazing artists my age. all of our winning pieces get hung up in this long hallway in the capitol building for a year. :-D
now i'm training to work at Starbucks while trying to spend as much time with my friends as possible before we all go off to college. i'm going to University of St. Thomas for about 2 years and then off to art school. hopefully. i'm working to get the money.
